Throw Pots & Raku Fire :: Taos Clays' Unique 2.5 Hour Class for Tourists
Are you on vacation and searching for a unique experience? In this class you will learn how to throw on a potters wheel and participate in a Japanese Raku firing. The class takes approximately three hours and was recently featured in the January 2010 Issue of "Sunset" magazine. This hands-on class class offers someone with no prior experience in clay, the opportunity to take part in all facets of the ceramic process. While learning to throw on a potters wheel, we will also be fast firing a kiln with pots that you have glazed.
